Bureaucrats by their very nature will never work themselves out of a job. That is partly why since Education has been nationalized with the department of E.D.U. national test scores have dropped in K-12 education, or why drug crime continues to rise since the creation of the DEA, (or going back further, BATF) or the EPA continually propagate policies that are counter-productive. This is why Ronald Reagan’s contribution to the national dialogue was so important. President Reagan intuitively understood that creating more bureaucrats to solve problems in reality almost always, creates more problems instead.
What my question is, what happened to all of the Reagan Republicans out there? Do all we stand for is “Liberal-Lite”?
